Sunday, 7 August 2011 marked the close of the 2011 Global IPv6 Deployment Monitoring Survey, and we are pleased to announce that the ARIN region has seen a 42 percent increase in survey participation. A total of 354 organizations from the ARIN region responded, with a slight increase in the total number of participants to 1661.
On behalf of ARIN and GNKS Consulting, we would like to thank all who participated in the survey. Your feedback is crucial to expanding the understanding of where this community is moving, and what can be done to ensure readiness for the widespread adoption of IPv6.
We look forward to sharing the results with you as soon as we get them next month. The survey was timed so that the results can be presented during an IPv6 workshop at the Internet Governance Forum in Nairobi, Kenya in late September.
Regards,
Communications and Member Services
American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN)
