The following Internet Number Resource Policies have been implemented today:
- ARIN-2011-1: ARIN Inter-RIR Transfers
- ARIN-2012-1: Clarifying requirements for IPv4 transfers
- ARIN-2012-3: ASN Transfer
A new version of the ARIN Number Resource Policy Manual (NRPM) has been published to the ARIN website. NRPM version 2012.3 is effective 31 July 2012. It supersedes the previous version.

ARIN will be hosting an #IPTransfer Twitter Chat with ARIN’s President and CEO, John Curran, on 8 August at 2:30 PM (EDT) to answer questions about implementation of the Inter-RIR Transfer Policy. Full details are available at: at: http://teamarin.net/?p=5232
An already implemented global policy has also been added to the NRPM; “ARIN-2011-9 (Global Proposal): Global Policy for post exhaustion IPv4 allocation mechanisms by the IANA.”
