On 17 January 2017, ARIN will publish a Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record at the top level of the DNS for arin.net. This record should make it easier to determine whether email that you receive claiming to be from ARIN is legitimate.

We have fully accounted for all sources of arin.net mail, over both IPv4 and IPv6, however there is a small chance that an email provider will still reject legitimate ARIN email. If you suspect that you are not receiving mail from ARIN, or if you do not receive an anticipated email from us please contact us by email with an alternative email account at [email protected] or call the Registration Services help desk at +1.703.227.0660. In order to assist you, we will need to know your email provider, the email address that you believe is not receiving arin.net email, and an alternative way for us to reach you.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Regards,

Mark Kosters
Chief Technology Officer
American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN)
